Brothers

Oh where are my brothers, those who fought with me in battles long past?
Where are the soldiers I saw fall in the fields?
I have fought most of my battles, and few remain now.
My world is now peaceful, my world, full of light.
But where are my brothers, with whom I gave fight.
In battles long past?

Where is the woman I then left behind?
I promised her my return.
The mother of my children has now gone away.
I find myself without her, the woman I chose.
We now have returned, with a difference in time.
My world, full of light, and yet I can't find her.

The woman I loved....

I will continue searching for the woman I then left behind. All others seem so shallow and heartless, compared to you, the woman I then left behind.
