Conversaciones entre el Llaverito y Yo

Welcome!!

Why am I doing this? Well, just to write down some things that come to me now and then. It is mainly for my own entertainment, but I also use it for more serious things, like studying and reviewing things I like. I also tell publicly what I should be telling privately. It is written both in English and Spanish but not side by side. Some things sound better in English and some sound better in Spanish.

You are welcome to nose around.

Lullaby for a Trumpeter

In the distance, with the setting sun behind him, a trumpeter plays a tune. The tune is happy, but it signals the end of a day and it gives you a sketch of what the day has been like. The notes are bright and breezy, light and full of love for what has been and never again will be.

The tune is full of joy and remembrance and it signals the end of the day. The sun finally sets and all is left is the light of a sun that has gone but left behind the reflection of light and happiness and gratefulness. The air is warm and carries the music beautifully. The trumpeter fades into the darkness but you know he is there because of the elation in the air and the music he leaves in your spirit.

Be happy and grateful for what has been given to you. Shed a tear if you like, but the trumpeter is leaving you with the warmest memories that will carry you through the night. He will not return tomorrow and yet you will survive as he leaves you full of hope of a new day and new reasons for happiness.
